1. The Spirit of the Game
Golf is a game of integrity, etiquette, and respect. We expect all junior golfers to:

Keep it Clean: Use positive, encouraging language. Swearing, offensive remarks, or aggressive shouting have no place on our course.

Respect the Green: Treat the course with care—repair your divots, rake the bunkers, and follow all golf cart/walking path rules.

Pace of Play: Keep up with the group in front of you to ensure everyone has an enjoyable round.

2. Friendship & Sportsmanship
We are here to grow as athletes and as a community.

Be a Good Partner: Whether you’re winning or struggling with your swing, remain friendly and supportive of your fellow golfers.

Zero Tolerance for Bullying: We maintain a strictly kind environment. Any form of harassment, intimidation, or "trash-talking" that demeans another player will result in immediate review of your league eligibility.

Honesty: Always keep an accurate scorecard. Integrity is the most important club in your bag.

3. Safety & Supervision
Safety First: Never swing your club or hit your ball until you are certain the area in front of you is clear.

Staff Instructions: Please follow all directions given by the Valley View Pro Shop staff and league marshals promptly and politely.

4. Dress Code
To maintain the traditions of Valley View, we ask that all juniors wear appropriate golf attire

5. Media & Liability Waiver
By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge that:

Photography: Valley View may take photos or videos of league play for promotional use on our website or social media.

Liability: Golf involves physical activity and inherent risks. Valley View Golf Course is not responsible for any injuries or lost/stolen property during league events.

Acceptance of Terms
By clicking "I Agree" and completing this signup, you are committing to being a positive representative of the Valley View Junior Golf League. Let’s have a great season, play some excellent golf, and make some lifelong friends!

● Plan ahead for personal needs so that I can arrive on time and participate in all activities
● Challenge myself to learn and advocate for my needs, including requesting help or accommodation when I need it
● Follow staff instructions and raise concerns respectfully
● Respect my surroundings and others in the program. Use respectful language with staff and others including my peers. Treat my surroundings with care including cleaning up after myself.
The following may result in being dismissed from the program:
● Bullying, harassing or using derogatory language towards another person or group of people
● Leaving the program area without permission from a staff member
As the parent/guardian I will support my child’s participation in this program by:
● Communicating with staff prior to program start time if my child must be absent
● Not making inappropriate requests of staff that conflict with program guidelines
● Working together with program staff to resolve issues that arise with my child
Program staff commit to:
● Respectful and effective communication with all participants and their parents
● Helping youth have a safe and fun experience
● Addressing problems that are brought to our attention
● Creating an environment where everyone is welcome and given the opportunity to succeed
